While media was fairly clear to me before taking this course, this course did help me label things, such as multi-modal media, which is something I knew of but did not know the name for. Media is the way that information is presented to an audience, it can be oral, printed, digital, or multi-modal, as in, more than one form. Oral presentation is when one presents their information via a speech, print is in paper format, and digital is via technology, like websites or slides. An example of a multi—modal format would be presenting slides. That would combine oral and digital media. An example of a multi-modal media we used is attached below. The media of the video is digital, however, me and my group presented this information orally, making this a multi-modal media.
